Our Journey Hello! My name is Kelsey and I am the wife of a second year medical school student. My husband Matt and I live in Pikeville Kentucky where he is attending the University of Pikeville's school of Osteopathic Medicine. We have lived here now for one year. Originally we are from Salt Lake City Utah we got to Eastern Kentucky in July 2018 and have been making the best of living in a little town ever since. I work full time in order to pay all the bills including rent, groceries and power. My job also provides us with very good and affordable insurance. Matt does his part and pays for our internet and water. We live within our means so money doesn't stress us to much, but that isn't the case for all medical students. I am starting this blog to share my experiences with those who are staring their journey as well as a way for me to express my feelings and insights.
